QIS Jobs: candidate pre-screening handed to an AI assistant on WhatsApp
A Brussels recruitment firm hands the first contact with its candidates to an AI assistant on WhatsApp, connected to its Airtable database.
QIS Jobs, a recruitment and selection firm based in Brussels for 11 years, spent much of its time searching for and calling back candidates. Boldys set up an AI assistant that pre-screens candidates on WhatsApp, from its Airtable database of more than 3,000 candidates.

The problem
QIS Jobs is a recruitment and selection firm based in Brussels for 11 years, mostly placing employees in permanent positions. First contact happened by phone: lots of voicemails, lots of callbacks. Much of the time went into searching for candidates, and prospecting suffered.
The solution
Boldys built an AI assistant that pre-screens candidates on WhatsApp. The candidates are already in QIS Jobs' Airtable database, which holds more than 3,000 profiles: linking them to a job offer is enough to send the message. From 9 a.m., a message goes out every 5 minutes, and an automatic reminder follows within 48 hours when a candidate has not replied. Qualified candidates are then met in an interview.
Yves' testimonial
What changed
- More prospecting: more than the year before, according to Yves.
- More interviews: the time freed up goes into meeting more good candidates.
- Faster replies: on WhatsApp, candidates reply faster than by phone, especially after the automatic reminder.
- Old candidates reactivated: profiles that had not been contacted for years replied.
“I really see it as an assistant that pre-screens candidates. It genuinely freed up time to see more candidates.”
